Winery Accommodation

The vibrant Yarra Valley region which adjoins the Dandenong Ranges is a famous tourist destination known for its amazing wineries and vineyards.

There are many wineries that welcome visitors to taste their wines or have a meal at their on-site restaurants. Some wineries also have accommodation within the winery itself where visitors can relax after a weekend of wine tasting.

Yarra Valley Winery Accommodation & Luxury Packages

Most of the winery accommodation comes in the form of cottages or private cabins within the expanses of the vineyard. During your stay, you will have a private room with ensuite, kitchenette, lounge area, TV, heating and cooling and WiFi.

The Yarra Valley also has some resort style accommodation options at some of its wineries including, for example, Balgownie Estate. At this beautiful resort, you will find a 4.5-star boutique luxury resort set on 30 hectares. The resort is surrounded by vineyards and beautiful views and has spa facilities on site. With room options ranging from double, queen, garden suites to spa suites, there is something to suit every taste.

Staying at a winery is a great choice for couples who want a quiet romantic place to say, or for families who need the convenience and comforts of home. So come and rediscover a romantic lifestyle, whilst indulging in the serene Yarra Valley region in Victoria.

  • Hi,
I’m looking to book accommodation for 23rd and 24th April in the Yarra Valley for 4 adults. We wanted more of a apartment/cottage/house with a lounge room. Is there anywhere close to shops that you could recommend and also do some wineries have a pick up and drop off service?

    • Hi Helen, thanks for the email.

If you want to be close to the shops, in my view Healesville is your best bet with Yarra Glen coming in a close second. Healesville has everything you will need during your stay including restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets – as well as beautiful scenery.

As for accommodation, there are a huge range of options – but unfortunately it seems your dates are during a popular time. As I am not sure of your budget, I have included a couple of recommendations:
      1. Healesville Garden Accommodation
      2. Pomegranate Guest House

As for winery tours, I am not aware of specific wineries that do a pick up/drop off service. However, I have found one tour from the Yarra Valley. Alternatively, if you would like to book a tour from Melbourne, you could contact the tour operator and simply have them pick you up and drop you off from Healesville – which is on their way.
      1. Winery tour from the Yarra Valley
      2. Winery Tour from Melbourne

All the best on your trip to the Yarra Valley. Enjoy your stay!

      Regards,
      Jess
