Yarra Valley Town – Lilydale

Bianchet is one of the finest wineries in Lilydale that produces an array of internationally famous wine varieties.

Lilydale also houses a large commercial centre offering high-class shopping facilities. There is an array of major shopping areas along Main Street that boasts a number of supermarkets across a gorgeous tree-lined boulevard. Lilydale Marketplace is one of the most popular shopping avenues and is located near Hutchinson Street. This shopping avenue features over 30 retail stores, eateries and specialty stores.

The township houses a number of historic mansions along the popular Castella Street. The street boasts an array of Lilydale’s oldest buildings and a number of historic landmarks including some buildings from the 1880s.

Lilydale Lake Park is one of the popular parklands that features a large lake with sailing and fishing being the most popular activities. There are also 10 kilometres of shared trails around the lake which are perfect for walking or bike riding and dogs are welcome at the park with two designated dog off-lead areas. For those who want to relax, there are picnic areas at the lakes which have BBQ’s, picnic table, toilets, a rotunda and lawn areas.
