Wesburn Park Ovals & Off-Leash Dog Reserve, Victoria

The lovely bush landscape of the park makes the park ideal for nature walks and visitors will often see a variety of wildlife hiding in the foliage that surrounds the park.

Today, the park is used for a number of purposes, including Australian football, cricket and school sports days. Dogs are welcome in the park and many people bring their dogs here for a run around the lovely parklands. Importantly, this is one of the only parks in the Yarra Ranges that allows dogs to be exercised off lead. Please see the image below for designated “off-leash” areas (near Old Warburton Road, highlighted in green).

Sitting just on the edge of the Yarra Ranges National Park, there are so many things to do near the park including a trip up to Mt. Donna Buang, or you could take a trip further north and go to Healesville Sanctuary.
