Yarra Glen Showgrounds

The Yarra Glen Recreation Reserve and Showgrounds are located along the northern bank of the Yarra River in the picturesque town of Yarra Glen.

Here, you will find a sports oval and nearby there are picnic areas and a playground. The recreation reserve is a popular dog walking spot and the showgrounds are used for events throughout the year.

Not far from the reserve and showgrounds is the Yarra Glen adventure playground which is a landscaped playground with a huge variety of activities suitable for all ages and abilities. You will also find toilets, picnic tables and BBQ. The nearby McKenzie Reserve also has a skate park and plenty of shade and lawn areas to play and have a picnic.

Events are also occasionally held at the showgrounds including car shows and agricultural exhibitions.

Dogs are welcome in the park and there are designated areas where dogs are permitted to go off-leash. Please refer to the image below, the areas highlighted in green are the permissible off-leash areas.
