Blue Hills Berries and Cherries is a renowned Yarra Valley family owned and operated farm, known for its fresh berry and cherry produce.

Started by two local farmers Lorraine and Murray, this small farm is one of the best and most popular suppliers of quality fresh and frozen fruits in Victoria.

Blue Hills Berries & Cherries U-Pick Farm, Silvan Vic

Come here and enjoy picking your own berries and cherries within this stunning lush setting. The farm has a very busy berry and cherry season when a number of locals come to Blue Hills to have the unique U-Pick experience. Walk across the garden and fill your basket with sweet cherries, youngberries, boysenberries, blackberries and blueberries to take home. Bring your little ones so that they can enjoy picking fruits straight from the tree.

Enjoy the panoramic views of the hilly backdrop covered with flowered meadows and dense lush forested areas. Also, walk to the adjoining Silvan Reservoir where you can relax and picnic at the shaded picnic area within a quaint and charming setting.

After your fun-filled tour, end your day at the Berry Lane Cafe, where there is delectable array snacks and desserts can be enjoyed. Relax at the cafe and enjoy some of the fruit desserts or a Devonshire tea or coffee. Also, check out the farm’s wide choice of frozen berries and cherries available for sale.

Blue Hills Berries and Cherries is also known for its fresh and delicious frozen berries. Browse through their store and check out the wide array of frozen fruits that you can use to make some delicious jellies, jams, juices and frozen desserts.

As most of the berries are seasonal, visitors are advised to call the farm before planning their tour. The farm also charges a small entrance fee for all visitors.

Adult Entry Fee: $12.00 per person (Price includes all you can eat in the orchard & a picking demonstration)
Child Entry Fee (3 – 14 years old): $6.00 (Children under 3 free)
Extra Fruit: $12 per Kg (Weighed upon exit)
U-Pick Berries:
Adult Entry Fee: $13.50 (includes approximately 500g of ‘Pick Your Own’ mixed fruit to take home)
Child Entry Fee (3 – 14 years old): $6.50 (includes 250 grams of fruit to take home) Children under 3 are free.

Blueberry Prices: $16 Kg. Minimum 1Kg per person. Prepay for 1Kg before entering the orchard.

Closed on Christmas Day & New Years Day, with restricted opening hours of 9am – 12pm on Christmas Eve & New Years Eve.
