Recreational reserves are an easy way for travellers to unwind, and this is exactly what Woori Yallock Recreation Reserve is all about.
Nestled in the quiet town of Woori Yallock, the reserve is 56 kilometres east from Melbourne‘s CBD and is therefore ideal for those taking a day trip to sample attractions in Victoria.
Woori Yallock Recreation Reserve & Sporting Ground
Within the recreation reserve, there is a large oval which is utilised throughout the winter seasons for AFL and through the summer months for cricket. There are also netball courts, tennis courts and a small soccer field located near to the oval.
The sporting facilities are utilised by local clubs who play most of their competitive sports on the weekends, but the facilities are also able to be utilised by visitors during non-competition times.
Woori Yallock is only a short 15-minute drive to Healesville, so why not take a day trip up and check out the many attractions in Healesville and the surrounding Yarra Valley Ranges.
