Great Southern Beer & Cider Festival

The inaugural Great Southern Beer & Cider Festival is an exciting new festival for craft beer and cider lovers.

The festival will be held on AFL Grand Final Eve (which is a public holiday) at the Yarra Glen Racecourse in the picturesque Yarra Valley. This new festival will be a great day out for enthusiasts and young families alike.

A variety of local craft beers and ciders will be showcased with the Festival promising the opportunity to taste some old favourites, as well as an exciting range of new products. Plus, enjoy an exclusive variety of gourmet style street food from selected food vendors. All patrons will receive an official Hargreaves Hill Brewing Co. souvenir 285ml tasting glass upon arrival.

There will be live music on stage from a variety of bands including The Three Kings who won Blues album of the year at the Music Victoria Awards. They are bound to have you dancing!

For families, there’ll be plenty of activities and entertainment options. Kids are invited to come proudly dressed in their AFL footy team colours and participate in an official AFL Footy Clinic with inflatable balls. Then, they can go and have a play on a massive playground, have fun with face painting and meet some furry friends at the animal farm.

Free parking will be available onsite or patrons can avail of complimentary bus travel between Lilydale station and the festival throughout the day.

A Beer & Cider Combo tickets are available which includes entry and 10 tasting tokens.
